Hi, I’m Brodie, the founder of Icepik Media and a proud resident of the most beautiful region on Earth: the Canadian Arctic.
I started Icepik Media with a simple goal in mind.
I wanted to tell the stories of the North and to share the deep love I have for my home through the lens of a camera. Based in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, I specialize in field photography and videography. No matter the place, no matter the conditions.
From capturing traditional hunts and scientific fieldwork to documenting epic journeys across the land, I live for the moments that define life up here.

Training in emergency medical response for remote locations, including patient assessment, trauma management, environmental injuries, and prolonged care scenarios where evacuation may be delayed. This certification supports safe expedition work and responsible field leadership.
Specialized training in assessing ice conditions, hazard recognition, cold water survival, self-rescue, and assisted rescue techniques. Essential for working and traveling on frozen lakes, rivers, and sea ice during Arctic and winter productions.
Professional operator training focused on safe handling, maintenance awareness, terrain assessment, and responsible backcountry travel. These skills allow me to safely access remote filming locations in all seasons.
